Brainwaves are categorized in 4 categories : Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta

Alpha: – (8-13 cycles per second)

Awake but in a relaxed and effortless alertness.

The alpha state is associated with creativity, super learning, and “being in the zone.” The best professional athletes often function from alpha.

Meditation, relaxation exercises, and activities that enable the sense of calm, also enable this alpha state. In general, we are accustomed to using the beta brain rhythm. When we diminish the brain rhythm to alpha, we put ourselves in the ideal condition to learn new information, keep fact, data, perform elaborate tasks, learn languages, analyse complex situations.

Beta (13- 40 cycles per second)

Beta is associated with our waking activity. During a day we experience all the brainwave patterns with a predominance of Beta.

Delta:- (1/2 – 4 cycles per second)

Delta is associated with deep sleep, this pattern is very slow,Astral projection or Out of Body experience occurs in Delta.

A journey of discovery

Theta :- (4-7 cycles per second)

Associated with creativity, dreams and Extra-sensory perception Theta is simply the state where your ESP can operate , if you do the proper work you can learn to enter theta at will and perform most of the psychic activities.

Gamma brainwaves (100 – 38 Hz) were detected later than the other brainwaves, less is known about them but they are associated with states of peak performance (both physical and mental), high focus and concentration and during mystic and transcendental experiences. A lot of research is currently being done on gamma brainwaves in the 40 Hz range during meditation. One of the characteristics of gamma waves is a synchronization of activity over wide areas of the brain.

Gamma brainwaves are not easy to detect because of their low amplitude and can only partly be displayed on the Mind Mirror screen. Sometimes they may be seen as a narrow frequency band at 38 Hz.
